You may remember last year when we reported on the astonishing Shinjuku Station Three-JS Demo by GitHub user Satoshi7190.
Now the genius has done it again with the Shinjuku Station TPS View.
Based on the same 3D modelling technology as the station viewer, TPS View allows you to actually walk the entire station with a POV interface.
It’s really amazing and you have to experience it to believe how cool it is.
In fact, the TPS View model includes not just the station but all of Shinjuku.
There’s also a cool menu in the viewer which allows you to turn on or off different parts of the 3D model in real time. Very cool.
The models are provided free from Japan’s Geospatial Information Authority.
