Just across the street from Tokyo Sky Tree is a little cafe called Kimily. They offer coffee, drinks, food, pastries, and a nice environment. The all-wood decor has a warm inviting feel, and if you catch the place at just the right time of the morning after sunrise, the street is a awash in brilliant light which lights up the entire area.
If you’re staying at Sky Tree or one of the nearby hotels, it’s just a short walk. The street adjacent in front of Sky Tree is delightful with a short riverwalk for effect.
1 block the other direction to the south is Rt. 453, which stretches for miles. If you take it far enough west, you’ll come to the Sumida River.
There are also plenty of small backstreets to explore.
There are an incredible amount of things to do in the area and you could easily spend days exploring and walking around.
