HIGUMA Doughnuts is a very cool donut and food chain in Tokyo, There are several locations (half a dozen in fact).
The two main shops are on an offbeat backstreet miles east of Meguro Station, and one in Omotosando several blocks east of Harajuku Station.
The one in Meguro is several miles from Meguro Station, and you’ll have to hike miles west on Rt 312, then hang a right to get to it.
The Omotosando shop is clearly bigger, nicer, and filled with light and glass, but the shop in Meguro has its own charm too. There is more seating at the Omotosando shop.
The menu is absolutely out of this world – featuring gourmet donuts, hamburgers, sandwiches, sausage, coffee, and more. The donuts are some of the best in Tokyo and are a true delicacy.
Both are worth checking out, although the Omotosando one is a bit easier to get to.
