Tucked away on a charming little side street in western Tokyo’s Shimo-Kitazawa, is the Bookends Coffee Service. They serve hot + cold coffee, sandwiches, and cakes.
To get there, get to Shimo-Kitazawa Station, then head due east for about 1/4 mile. It’s just north of the station. You can also walk to the shop from Yoyogi Park to the east, about 2 miles.
If you’re in Shimo-Kitazawa, it’s a quick little refreshing stop.
