Just east of Suitengumae + Kiyosumi Gardens is a small little café called TOKAKU Coffee. This nice shop is mostly drip coffee, but has a laid-back Bohemian atmosphere and huge front windows which let in a lot of light – a great place to read a book or meet a friend. You can also buy coffee beans.
Access
To get here, get to Kiyosumi-shirakawa Station on the Metro Hanzomon Line, then head southwest on Rt. 463, then turn right (west) at the corner of the gardens. The shop is about 1/3 of a mile from the station – down on your left.
It turns out Kiyosumi is full of a lot of different cafés, including a Blue Bottle Coffee – which Tokyo Cheapo already reviewed.
