Tucked down a small side street in Tokyo’s Omotesando area in a small renovated house is the cool little cafe called Koffee Mameya. Drip + hand-poured coffee are served in a tiny, but elegant atmosphere with a nice design. The shop is quiet + subdued with perfect minimalist Zen design.
Access
There 2 ways to get to Koffee Mameya: 1) get to Omote-sando Station on the Metro Ginza Line, head 1 block west, then 2 blocks north, then 2 more blocks west again, or 2) get to New Harajuku Station on a JR line, then east down Omotesando Blvd. for about .43 miles, then head north (left) on a side street. GPS is probably the best way to find the shop.
If you’re in Omotesando walking the blvd, it’s a quick + easily little side stop and is worth it if you need a nice brew.
