Heart’s Light Coffee is a hip, but small little café down a side street in Shibuya. The atmosphere is nice, with a modern vibe, but on a weekday at rush-hour, or a Saturday, it can get crowded quickly. For ambiance, the shop spins vinyl.
Access
The shop is on a residential corner 2 blocks from the main drag in Shibuya. It’s also just just a mile or so east of Meguro Sky Garden.
The easiest way to get here is to exit Shibuya Station on the west side, then head south 1 block, then west down the street under Metropolitan Expressway Central Circular Route. Around 35°39’18.26″ N 139°41’26.08″ E, turn north (right) on Rt. 317, then 3 streets down on your right turn right again. The side street runs northeast slightly. Heart’s Light is just a block down on the right.
Food
The shop sells coffee, espresso, beans, and a few snacks. You can sit and enjoy a brew, or take out.
Since it’s less than a mile + a half from Shibuya Station, it’s worth a stroll if you have a few extra minutes.
