A new mixed used development including Japan’s new tallest skycraper named Torch Tower/Tokyo Torch will be built just north of Tokyo Station. The project is expected to take 6-7 years to complete.

“Akihabara News (Tokyo) — Mitsubishi Estate has provided concept images of its Tokyo Torch development, planned to open near Tokyo Station before the end of the March 2028. It’s most prominent feature, the 63-story Torch Tower, will be the largest skyscraper in Japan, taking the crown from Osaka’s Abeno Harukas”.
