SWING Cafés are a little chain of retro coffee + beer pubs in west Tokyo south of Tokyo Dome City.

There is also one in Shibuya to the south.

These pubs offer a relaxed atmosphere with jazz music, coffee, and beer.

A great place to unwind or meet your friends.

Access

The closest station to the 3 in Suidobashi is Suidobashi Station on the Metro Ginza Line, or some of the JR lines. The station is east of the area the cafes are in. But you can also get to them from Tokyo Dome City to the north on the Marunouchi Metro Line. From TDC just walk south on Hakusan-Dori for a few blocks – all 3 will be in the immediate area on your right (west).

Enjoy!

Base Camp Café is a cool little hip café tucked away behind Suidobashi Station in western Japan. Hidden on a backstreet, the café has a private atmosphere with a home-themed feel to it. It’s very quiet and a great place to read.

If you’re in the area, stop in.

To get there, take a JR line to Suidobashi Station, then head south, then east (left). It’s just behind the station.

Conclusion

Be sure to check their website for days/times of operation since they’re not open every day.

Enjoy!

Tucked away just behind Suidobashi Station in west Tokyo is the brand new fabulous hotel sequence.

The hotel is very convenient and right across from the station. Tokyo Dome City is just to the north. It also has a nice restaurant.

There is also one in Shibuya to the south and one in Kyoto.

If you’re in the Suidobashi/TDC area and need a nice hotel, check it out.

Just south of Tokyo Dome in west central Tokyo lies I-Garden Terrace – a small mixed-use complex. The building is mostly restaurants, but they also sometimes have events.

To get here, take the Metro Marunouchi Line or Metro Namboku Line to Korakuen Station, or a JR Line to Suidobashi Station.

From Korakuen Station exit to the south, walk across the elevated platform, past Tokyo Dome, down the stairs the right, then 2 blocks west, then 1 block south. From Suidobashi Station head directly west approx. 3 blocks.
